The Richmond R-XVI School District, Richmond, Missouri, has an opening for a dynamic leader to serve as Dear Elementary Principal for the 2026-2027 school year. 

QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of five years of successful teaching experience. Master's degree or higher in Educational Leadership and valid Missouri certification. Prior principal experience preferred. Effective communication skills. Effective team-building and organizational skills. The salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

REPORTS TO: Superintendent

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Eleven months, benefits according to Board policies.

JOB GOAL: The school principal is responsible for providing effective instructional leadership, has the ability to work cooperatively with teachers and support staff, maintain a positive school environment focusing on the well-being of students and staff, provide professional educational leadership, select, assign, support and evaluate staff, secure and maintain desired student behavioral patterns, delegate authority yet maintain accountability, maintain strong communication skills with students, staff and community. Ability to promote and revise curriculum development..
